"Singaporeans are more accepting when their colleagues, political leaders, policemen and teachers are from another race, but not when it comes to their spouse. This is the finding of a new study on how race and religion affect Singaporeans' interactions with each other. ..... Among the Chinese, when asked if they would marry someone their own race, 99% said they would. But if they were to have a Malay or Indian partner, only 31% would say yes."

hoho! so much for being racial tolerant eh? Wait, there's more.

"When it comes to their Prime Minister though, all the Chinese said they would accept a Chinese. If it were a Malay PM, the proportion went down to 91%, and if it were an Indian PM, 94% would approve.

However, the minorities (being Malays and Indians) are fully accepting of a Chinese PM as well as someone from their own race as Prime Minister."

LIKE WHAT THE FUCK PEOPLE?! People of my generation, PLEASE OH PLEASE don't be so fucking narrow minded la. So much for One People, One Nation. Oh yeah? Well it seems to me that just because we're of a different race, we're not allowed to be with your race? You people (WW2) Germans now? Believing in a superior race? Huh?

Well let's put it this way, would they approve of Heather having an angmoh boyfriend? Well, he's most probably a Christian and she's not, and he's obviously a different skin colour.

I have a certain female relative who's from the more Chinese side of my family. And she speaks Mandarin fluently and at one look of her fair skin, you'd think she's Chinese too. Anyways, she ended up having a Chinese boyfriend. When he told his parents that he had a Malay girlfriend they objected. Duh? So he didn't bring her to meet them.

They were still dating and after a few months (I suppose) he finally decided to bring her to a family gathering. Without telling his parents that she's the Malay girlfriend. (Heck, she looks like a Chinese remember?) She mingled around with his Chinese family and spoke Mandarin and then his parents commented, "Ah.. this is the kind of Chinese girl that we like.." HAHAHA, WELL IN YOUR FACE, SHE'S A MALAY.

SEE, WHY MAKE SUCH A BIG DEAL OUT OF RACIAL DIFFERENCES?!

Of course his parents found out cos in the end they got married. BUT, he had to wait til his grandparents died because they violently object to him marrying a Malay girl. My goodness, love has gotten so distorted.

I can't put it to so shaken with anger I couldn't hug you. Not at you, you know that. Pissed off shits man.

And there can't be anyone in a worse position than her. Not counting those in poverty-stricken countries blablabla..

What's life without getting to share it with someone you love man?

And what, you're gonna force Heather to marry a Chinese guy, let him fuck her though her heart's with another guy? So you care more about your FACE than her happiness?

Like I said before and will always say about this. Fucking. Ridiculous.
